There are many stakeholders in this topic and it will be tough to target a single one. The players and the MLB are the main ones that come to my mind but there are many more. The kids, previous players of the MLB who have suffered cancer from chewing and many more. P3 is going to be challenging but researching a topic I enjoy will make the process a lot easier, also having prior knowledge of the subject will also be very helpful and that will be good for moving forward.

Blog Post #3
Coming into P3 I was very unclear of what I wanted to research. I originally was thinking of researching a topic along the lines of switching physical class to online classes, but I am so sick of the Ethics and Higher Education book. After brainstorming for awhile and getting no where I finally got the great idea of researching a topic I enjoy and already have knowledge about (this guy is an idiot). What a great thought right? So the topic I finally decided on is the discussion of banning the use of smokeless tobacco in Major League Baseball. I love baseball and with the post season in full swing (nice pun) it makes me think about baseball all the time. The MLB is a huge organization bringing millions of people from all around the world to watch it, and with that boat load of people are the youth. Children of all ages watch professional baseball and call these players their role models. Monkey see, monkey do, am I right? With millions of kids watching these MLB players put fatty chews in their mouth they are going to want to do the same thing. How do I know this? Well I can say I was one of those kids. So my question is, how is the MLB going to cut grown men off of a habit they have had for years? What kind of controversy will this bring the MLB and how will the players react?
